It might be due to the zoom level and/or length of street vs. name.

The engine do not display the street name:
- If it would be unreadable, i.e. if zoomed out too much
- If the name is too long to fit on the road

thanks for this precision,
but it still something wrong,
when i implemente short street name with the same zoom level,
only the last name still visible ?....

Please save a document (.mdc) and attach it, so that I can see that problem "visually" ;-)
